Our Commitment
The Fulton Volunteer Fire Department goes to great lengths to prepare for the Annual Fulton Oysterfest, ensuring that it gets better with each passing year. In 2011, we welcomed over 36,000 visitors, marking the most successful Oysterfest in its history. The success of this event allows us to give back to our community in a profound way.
For over four decades, we’ve harnessed the funds raised from Oysterfest to purchase essential equipment and, more recently, to build a new fire station, which is now complete. We continue to allocate Oysterfest proceeds towards Equipment, Training, and Maintenance, making them the primary source of funding for life-saving and firefighting equipment in our community.
